For beginning and intermediate painters. This class will explore the basic structure of the head with an emphasis on correct shapes and values. Students may work in any medium including charcoal, pastel, watercolor and oil. All work will be done from life. Model fees are extra and will be equally divided among the students. Limited to 16 students. Bring whatever materials you are comfortable with, and a portable easel. The class meets every Wednesday morning  from 9:30 until 12:30.  In this fast-paced workshop, Tankersley will teach  students how to use photos as a tool to make their figure paintings lively, energetic and having strong design. Oils are preferred but students may also work in pastel or acrylics.
